Disability Support Worker Position Requirements:

Qualifications & experience

• Current First Aid & CPR (Essential)
• Current WWCC (Essential)
• Current Comprehensive Car Insurance (essential)
• Current Drivers License (Essential)
• Police check (Essential - Obtained within the last 3 years)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Personal care (essential)
• Food preparation
• Supporting clients in the community
• Implementing behaviour support plans aimed at supporting clients who demonstrate behaviours of concern to achieve their goals.
• Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence.
• Performing various household tasks including menu planning, cooking and serving meals, cleaning, shopping and other activities of daily living.

Office Administration and NDIS Compliance Position Responsibilities: 

Tasks & responsibilities

• Maintain complaints and incident registers.
• Ensure staff compliance is kept to 100%
• Oversee staff training and development
• Perform client and house risk assessments
• Be available to relieve on call phone when required

Additional relevant responsibilities when required.

Requirements of the position:

• Minimum of Certificate IV in individual support/ community services and or relevant.
• Current First Aid & CPR (Essential)
• Current WWCC (Essential)
• Current Comprehensive Car Insurance (essential)
• Current Drivers License (Essential)
• Police check (Essential - Obtained within the last 3 years)
