We are in search of Disability Support Workers (DSWs) to support our participants in Alice Springs NT, and Adelaide SA. We are specifically looking for female DSWs to provide support to female participants. The DSW will implement and monitor the participants care plan, and work as an effective member of a team to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes.

As Team Leader - Disability Support you will actively support the individual needs of our participants through supporting and promoting their skills and abilities, providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring their individual plan. The key responsibilities of this role will be to provide 1:1 supervision to individual personnel in addition to organisational teams. The team leader will oversee the implementation of individual client plans and where necessary oversee the contact between LinkUp Australia team members to clients, their families/carers and other client-related stakeholders. Team Leaders and Disability Support Workers work as a team to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with clients in a positive and proactive environment.

Essential Selection Criteria Summary 

• Certificate II or III or IV in Disability, or similar/relevant experience
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Working with Children Clearance for the NT (Ochre Card)
• Current NDIS Screening Check Clearance 
• A current unrestricted NT Driver's License
• A current NDIS Screening Check 
• A current NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)

Reference and suitability clearance(s) required by legislation must be completed and maintained throughout employment.
