We're in search of an Account Manager for our VIC school business!

As Account Manager based in South East Suburbs,, your role is crucial in contracting and retaining all customers while striving to make our brand the best school wear company in the market. You will leverage existing relationships to open new business opportunities, solicit new business, and achieve overall budgets. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the continual development of sales and services to new and existing customers, delivering commercially approved outcomes that enable us to provide excellent customer service.

You'll closely collaborate with our contracted schools, gaining a deep understanding of their requirements and devising effective solutions to maximise sales and ensure customer satisfaction. Your primary objective will be to cultivate lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their continuous engagement. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing new business opportunities and expanding our client base.  

To thrive in this position, a strong sales and account management background within the sports and school uniform industry is essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must, coupled with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive business development efforts by actively seeking and securing new clients and opportunities.
  • Exceed sales targets and quotas through proactive identification and pursuit of growth opportunities within existing client accounts.Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with clients' goals and objectives, striving to make our brand the best school wear company in the market.
  • Drive revenue growth by actively selling school apparel and extending existing contracts, while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Manage contract obligations, including rebates, renewal dates, and lease agreements.
  • Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and effectively close deals.Foster successful relationships and achieve commercial contract objectives by engaging with school leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with the retail sales team and business development managers to accurately forecast stock demand, meeting both community and business needs.
  • Coordinate with the production manager and supply chain manager to ensure timely stock deliveries, prioritising clear communication with schools.
  • Provide sales support to business development managers and retail shop managers.
  • Support trade show activations by preparing sales tools and implementing strategies.
  • Deliver comprehensive product knowledge to clients and prospects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information is provided to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales or account management experience in the sschool uniform industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
