Guardian Medical is a well-established and highly regarded practice that has been serving the local community for over 25 years.  Guardian Medical aims to provide the finest of primary medical care to our valued patients in a bright, friendly and relaxed environment while treating our patients with dignity, respect, kindness and courtesy.

We are currently looking for a friendly, professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our long standing team. Excellent working environment with friendly staff and patients. The successful applicant will need to have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts and be available throughout the week and the occasional Saturday morning (on a rotating roster).

Responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients into the practice in an efficient and courteous manner
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Collecting and entering patient details
• Answering phone calls and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Patient billing and processing of payments
• Performing general administrative duties such as scanning
• Assisting practitioners as needed

The applicant will also be required to work independently at times, work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate commitment to working hard.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Some advanced skills in Microsoft Office welcome
• Experience using Pracsoft software would be preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner
• Professional appearance and demeanour
• Ability to work both independently with initiative and as a team member
• Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment
• Current Australian Drivers licence and own car
