Security Officer - Level 2
Permanent & Casual Security Officers
Due to significant growth an opportunity is available within Hobart Operations to join Fields Group at our client located at Hobart Airport Construction Security. We are looking for experienced Security Officer's working access control for the Airport Construction compound.
The security officers role is at the Downer Airport Construction facility, where you have the ability to showcase your gatehouse operations, customer service and security skills.
The successful candidates will provide a high level of security and access and assist as required in providing resolution of issues. As the first point of contact with contractors, staff and visitors, you will be ensuring efficiency and effectiveness are maintained at a consistent level.
To be considered for this position, you must have as a minimum;
- A current TAS Security Licence
- A current TAS Drivers Licence
- A current TAS White Card
- A current first Aid Certificate
- Experience working in gatehouse operations to construction facilities
- Available to work across all time spans and days
- The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery of which comes under your control
- An ability to form effective client and employee relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with people at all levels
- The ability to produce high quality reports
- Intermediate levels of computer literacy (Microsoft products)
- High Levels of Customer Service Skills
- Availability to work additional shifts as relief.
- A current mobile smart phone with credit and the ability to use App's
In addition to the above, you will have a capacity to act autonomously, a high level of attention to detail and sound analytical skills, which are essential attributes we seek in filling this role.
