About Our Client:

Our client, located in Winnellie is recruiting a Contracts Administrator.
In conjunction with the Project Manager, the Contract Administrator is to manage the implementation and administration of the contractual and financial processes for the project. Participates in management and communication of the Client, Consultants, Subcontractors and Authorities. In the absence of the Project Manager be responsible for all aspects of the project.

About the Role:
  • Ongoing work – Monday to Friday, with the view to permanency
  • Day Shift
  • $90k – $130k (commensurate with experience and skill)

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Review Contract terms and conditions for each project and assigned project targets and accountabilities in conjunction with Project Manager
  • Be aware of head contract and its provisions and ensures compliance with the head contract conditions, administrating the contract so the businesses are protected
  • Incorporate these head contract conditions into the subcontract agreements under the guidance of the Project Manager
  • Evaluate, documents, submits and negotiates notices of all delays - inclement weather, industrial, design etc. which effect the effect the financial and programmed completion of the project
  • Evaluate tender submissions to ensure coverage of scope of works, subcontractors’ capability and expertise in delivery of scale and quantities involved
  • Review and approve subcontract documentation prior to issuing
To be successful for this role you will need the following:
  • Experience in estimating desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial construction contract management
  • Excellent knowledge of progress claims, variations, contractual notices
  • Competent technical, planning and financial management knowledge; · Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields including Company accounting software, MS Project, MS Office and Outlook
  • Excellent time management including prioritization and delegation of operational tasks
  • Demonstrate ability to identify, manage and resolve issues as they arise during the course of a project
  • Experience in cost control, forecasting and monthly reporting
