As a result of our continued growth, we are now recruiting for an experienced Finance Controller to join our team.

About The Role:

We require an experienced qualified Financial Controller to manage the day-to-day financial operation of the business group. 

Qualification and Training:

CA/CPA/NTAA/IPA qualified or with at least 5 years of commercial accounting experience ideally in a contractor environment.

Proven experience in managing the accounting function and finance team of mid sized organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary. 

Preparation of financial forecasting, budgets and cashflow. 

Collaborate with operational departments providing financial and KPI reporting.

Maintain and develop internal control systems.

Oversee reconciliations – bank accounts, credit cards & general ledger.

Debtor and creditor management.

Financial reporting, including BAS, GST, PRT and annual tax return obligations, liaise with external taxation accountants and advisors.

Manage and oversee payroll and invoicing.

Maintain a high preforming cohesive finance team.

About You:

Candidates will have strong commercial and management accounting experience and be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills. Sound communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to form and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Xero, Job costing and Microsoft Office suite. Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise multiple tasks.
