 About the role

Join our Aged Care Services team as a community domestic assistant (internally titled Home Care Assistant). Wherever you live, we want to hear from you.

This role will see you supporting older Australians living at home by taking them out shopping and:

  • Domestic assistance in the home, including cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, re-organising, tidying, laundry, and linen changes
  • Tasty meal preparation
  • Social support to live their best life at home 

About you

You’ll care about supporting older Australians to maintain their independence at home, and have the following:

  • Prior experience in home care or in a similar role is highly desired
  • Great communication skills
  • Full valid Driver’s Licence
  • Access to a roadworthy vehicle that is registered in WA and covered by Third-Party insurance is a must!
  • Influenza and COVID vaccination are preferred but not required
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
