Your New Role 

We are currently looking for an experienced Client Services Officer to join our team. This role is a 9 to 5 role working out of our West Perth office.  As part of our national Customer Service team, you will be helping customers with their queries as well as assisting in administering loans all the way from settlement of a new loan, through to customers paying out their home loans. 

At AFG, we service our customers over the phone and not face to face, so it is imperative our phone based service team is happy and customer focused. At AFG we do not have call centre targets that go with a traditional call centre. You will be taking calls from our clients but you won't be expected to take huge volumes every day. Instead, we simply want people who genuinely enjoy helping customers and want to work as part of a friendly supportive team.

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• Demonstrated client service experience, with a warm and inviting telephone manner, the ability to ask effective questions and demonstrate active listening techniques.
• The ability to take ownership of the call to ensure the best outcome possible for our clients.
• A professional, friendly and helpful attitude.
• Strong organisational skills – able to manage your daily workload whilst taking telephone calls and ensuring accuracy of administrative tasks.
• Genuine enjoyment in talking to customers and helping people.
• Strong IT skills with an ability to pick up new systems quickly.
• An open mind with a flexible attitude - we are always improving, and we value your input
• Banking and finance experience would be very helpful.
• Working knowledge of ZenDesk would be an advantage, but not essential.
