About the Role 

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Industrial Spray Painter / Sandblaster - Trades Assistant is responsible for assisting with carrying out quality and timely spray painting and sand blasting to either refurbish or repair second-hand equipment along with new machine repair, detail, re-colour of all Liebherr products in accordance with best industry practices. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assisting with the spray painting and sandblasting of various types of equipment and machinery 
  • Preparation and detailing of new machine build requirements
  • Sand equipment surfaces to remove flaws
  • Spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers and finish coatings
  • Complete accurate administrative tasks in relation to service activities, including submitting job sheets and timesheets
  • RPL opportunity exists for candidates with relevant skills and experience 

About You

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work under time constraints
  • Ability to work safely as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy 
  • Current valid driver’s licence
