Job Description:

The Rope Access Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site rope access technicians during execution.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all rope access activities within our shutdown/project space.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in rope access techniques, and a commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee all rope access activities and assets within the project/shutdown works during execution.
• Liaise with coordinators, project team, and contractors to understand project requirements and ensure alignment of rope access activities with project objectives.
• Conduct regular site inspections and conduct field leaderships to assess the effectiveness of rope access systems and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Act as a point of escalation for any issues or concerns related to rope access operations, providing timely resolution and communication.

Required Skillset

• Strong background in execution, in the shutdown/project space within the mining industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience in dynamic work environment with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Current IRATA Qualification and a comprehensive understanding of rope access techniques, equipment, and safety
• Appointed Persons – Schedule 26.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Trade qualified – highly advantageous
• Working at Heights & Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
• White Card
