Alkimos School Early Learning, situated in Alkimos, WA, stands as a distinguished family-owned and operated educational service tailored for children aged 0 to 12.

Upper management, including our dedicated owners, seamlessly integrates into our daily operations, fostering an environment where each team member contributes to the success of our mission. Ann Marie, Service Provider, maintains an open line of communication, ensuring her direct availability to all educators, a testament to our commitment to collaboration and support.

Our leadership philosophy embraces a hands-on approach, actively assisting our educators to deliver unparalleled quality in education and care. We take pride in our team's wealth of experience in cultivating relationships with the families within our service and providing continuous support.

Our management team, comprised of three Early Childhood Teachers, stands ready to offer guidance, mentoring, and opportunities for professional development. Additionally, a dedicated full-time off-the-floor educational leader is in place to provide comprehensive support to our educators.

We recognise and deeply value the pivotal role each educator plays in shaping the lives of the children in our care. 

 

About the Role…

We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood educator to lead a team and bring excitement and joy to our early learning service. This role is 38 hours per week. We are flexible with working arrangements, working hours are between 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Collaborating and creating innovative educational programs that are reflective of the children and surrounding community of our service.

Providing high-quality care and education to children.

Fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Using continuous critical reflection to further own learning and development and children within the service.

Keeping up-to-date with sector changes and information.

The successful applicant will possess the following;

  • A current Working With Children Check
  • Diploma in Children's services or Bachelor in Teaching (Early Childhood) or hold an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
  • A positive attitude
  • A true love and passion for working with children
  • Reliable and dedicated
  • Have an understanding of play based learning and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Be hardworking and use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with families
  • Be a genuine team player
  • Can use team collaboration and personal refection in a positive constructive manner
