Our Maintenance and Industrial Services business has been working with clients in the Bowen Basin since 2009. Possessing a strong pipeline of work, the team consists of locals and those preferring to DIDO. Opportunities now exist for appropriately skilled people who are keen to join the Monadelphous family and grow with us in this region. 


We have an outstanding opportunity for experienced Mechanical Supervisors (FI/FO OR DI/DO) to join our Mackay Operations Team working in the Bowen Basin on back to back shutdowns. 


The role of Supervisor will see you working 4/4/4 roster and carrying out a wide range of tasks across Draglines & Wash plant activities from planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements through to ensuring that the quality, production and environmental requirements of the project are met.

What you will bring 

  • Minimum 3 years Supervisory experience 
  • Strong Mechanical background is highly desirable 
  • Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate 
  • Dragline and Wash plant shutdown experience is highly desirable but not essential 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
