About the role 

We are seeking a suitable, qualified Maintenance Officer to take on a challenging and rewarding position at Regis for our Bunbury Aged Care home.

The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for providing Maintenance and services to the building, equipment, and grounds.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Officer may see you:

• Maintaining plant, equipment, building and services.
• Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with appropriate safety best practice.
• Maintain the grounds in a neat and tidy manner. Identify preventative maintenance requirements, complete the works and documentation of schedules.
• Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and are documented in the relevant registers

What we look for:

• General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
• General skills such as painting, maintenance of the grounds, garden beds and knowledge of gardening equipment would be preferred.
• Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
• Excellent customer service manner.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
