An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced cook. The hotel is an independently owned property.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing, cooking, presenting and serving high quality meals achieving a consistent standard  
• The effective and efficient operation of the kitchen
• Managing kitchen equipment and inventory
• Receiving and examining supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet venue and food safety standards
• Abiding by food safety regulations
• Ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Work well in a team structure
• Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

We are searching for an individual with excellent time management and communication skills, and most importantly, a commitment to excellence in product and service.

Approximately 20 hours per week but could increase to cover staff leave and busy periods.
