Job Description: 

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including order processing, pick and pack, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels and conduct regular stocktake.
  • Organise warehouse layout and storage systems to optimise space utilisation and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Forklift license and other relevant certifications preferred.
