Proudly part of the Save the Children Australia Group and global movement, we're here to make sure that everyone understands their rights. So that children and young people have their rights met and thrive, in all their diversity.

We champion the children, young people and families we work with. We are inspired by the curiosity and creativity of children and motivated by the love of those who care for them.

With the child's voice at the centre, we provide quality services to children and their caregivers, advocating with them so that children develop, learn, and are connected, safe and confident. Our people are proudly local, reflective of the communities we serve - in every state and territory, and across regions, remote areas and capital cities.

Where you come in:

You'll report to the Operations Support Manager and to secure the right person, we are keen to hear from candidates located in Devonport, Launceston and Hobart.

You will make an impact by:

  • Workplace health and safety - Coordinate property audits and identify opportunities for improvement and respond accordingly, and
  • Administration - Provide general office coordination and support.

Does this sound like you?
You're an adaptable all-rounder, with a proven background in administration or office management support, finance and data processing and/or able to acquire these skills quickly. Your organisational skills alongside your attention to detail will support the efficient and effective running of the Tasmanian team. You're personable and friendly, and you'll easily build strong positive relationships with all stakeholders and the community.

This role requires:

  • Strong computer literacy and data entry skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases and graphics) are essential,
  • Financial and invoice reconciliation skills and experience,
  • Exceptional customer service skills,
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills,
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, and
