This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant to join a great maintenance team based in the Holden Hill area. Our client is a market leader in food manufacturing providing high quality food products to domestic and overseas customers.

About your new role

As a Trade Assistant you will assist the maintenance team in everyday productions! You will be welding, cutting, drilling, and where required, using manual handling aids. You will be a team player with a strong safety focus. Along with this you will be experienced in a workshop environment or trade assistant role.

What you will need

You will have prior experience in a similar role, be reliable and take pride in your work.

• Previous experience in a workshop environment
• Current Drivers licence (P's minimum) and reliable form of transport
• Welding experience is desired but not essential
• Experience with Hand and power tools
• Experience cutting and drilling
• Able to undertake a pre employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Have a strong sense of teamwork and commitment to safety by ensuring all work is conducted according to site safety procedures and guidelines.
