About the role:
As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy road transport vehicles and heavy-duty equipment for our client, Mineral Resources, on site in Weipa. This includes conducting scheduled maintenance, repair and replacing tyres to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy road transport vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and replace all site equipment tyres to ensure maximum tyre life.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Tyre Fitter
• Strong aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Current Drivers Licence
• Provide a national Police Check
