Avida is Australia's largest motorhome manufacturer. We have been manufacturing quality Recreational Vehicles for over 55 years. Our manufacturing facility is located at Emu Plains, in Western Sydney. We have a dealer sales network throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Due to our business growth in a booming industry, we are recruiting to fill several permanent Production rolesThe successful candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic, possess a strong work ethic, is reliable, motivated, with a positive attitude, and a willingness to develop and learn.  

While not required, if you’re good with tools and your hands and like working on DIY projects this could be just the role for you.

About The Opportunity:

Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work in an enjoyable and productive team environment and play a vital role to ensure that a high standard of quality work is achieved on time, consistently and efficiently.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

There are various tasks and responsibilities that can include but are not limited to the following:

  • Preparation and assembly of vehicle componentry;
  • Assembly of furniture;
  • Installation of internal and external fixtures (e.g., doors, mirrors, trims, appliances);
  • Assembly of vehicle panels;
  • Sealant of body panels and accessories;
  • Installation of interior upholstery trim;
  • Installation of electrical components;
  • Installation of plumbing components;
  • Operation of Sewing machines;
  • Operation of CNC machines;
  • Vehicle body building;
  • Initiating continuous improvement ideas; 
  • Adherence to WH&S standards at all times; and
  • Live our Company values of “We Care, We Listen, We Learn, We Act”.
