A position has become available within our Maitland based Air Conditioning company for a senior / experienced Administration staff member.
The role we are seeking to fill generally encompasses the following tasks / responsibilities;
- Working together with two (2) other Administrative staff, one (1) Service Manager and three (3) Directors – in the day to day operations of a company of approx. 25 people.
- General accounting software (Xero) data entry and generation of reports.
- Generation of, and issuing of invoices.
- Reviewing outstanding debtors and advising relative dept. heads (when required).
- Processing of employee time sheets / job dockets, and preparation of weekly wages.
- Bank reconciliations and depositing funds at local branch (when required).
- Organising mail and delivering to Post Office (when required).
- Preparation of quotes and / or assoc. documents for dept. managers (if / when required).
- Receiving incoming phone enquiries (if / when required).
- There may be the chance (at times) where receiving goods in our rear dock / warehouse may be required.
It is envisaged that the right candidate in this role may transition into an overall Administration Management type role (responsible for coordination of work amongst fellow administration staff). Hence, experience in dealing with / coordinating other staff in office procedures may be looked upon favorably.
Previous experience in a building or trade related business may also be an advantage (only from a functionality perspective).
