Claims Technical Analyst
In this exciting career opportunity you will be is responsible to ensure a claim is proactively managed at all stages. Working with a Loss Adjuster you will review and interpret information, draft non-complex progress reports and determine the best way forward for a non-complex claim. You will work with your direct Line Manager, Claims Assistants, Loss Adjusters and peers to ensure the best possible customer and client experience is provided.
What are my accountabilities?
- First point of contact with Policyholders/Brokers upon receipt of new instructions and booking of adjuster appointments
- Collaborate with loss adjusting colleagues to deliver the most effective claims settlement solution to ensure claim life is reduced to the fullest extent
- Build and maintain rapport with the customer, client/broker and colleagues about the progress of their claim and requesting documents
- Preparing and validating schedules of loss using Settlement items
- Recommend claim strategies to Loss Adjuster considering policy wordings, policy schedule and client rules
- Draft progress or final report for Non-Complex claims for referral to the Loss Adjuster
About You:
- A minimum of 12 months as a Claims Assistant
- Demonstrated understanding of the insurance industry customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability in applying policy wording to a claim
- Able to demonstrate experience of the adjusting and handling claims process from instruction to conclusion
- Motivated, self-sufficient and able to work under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
