Qualified Electrician/Electrical Service Technician is required to join a large global OEM to look after products and service requirements in Sydney.

My client is a leading global manufacturer that specialises in designing, manufacturing, and servicing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for various major industry sectors such as Data Centres, Infrastructure, Industrial and Power Generation. 

This is a fulltime permanent role with continued growth.

Daily Duties

• Execute and complete routine and remedial service work on UPS systems. 
• Assist with project supervision and liaise with our key customers.
• Complete service reports and quotations manually and electronically. 
• Complete on-site assembly, installation and commissioning works when required.

This role is a highly technical role that will see you constantly learning every single day and developing a sound understanding of a technical product line. You will focus on the repair, maintenance and commissioning of critical power infrastructure specifically their Uninterruptible Power Supply portfolio. You may also get to experience some international travel to attend major conferences.

This is highly rewarding and technical role that will challenge you each day in the best possible way. Due to the product and industry sectors, there are some requirements the successful applicant must have.

• Full Electrical License
• Current or recent experience working as a service technician or field service role within UPS, Data Systems or Electrical products (training on the company's products is provided if you meet the above but have not worked with UPS)
• Technically minded and experienced on the tools
• Full drivers license
• Ability to spend a small amount of time away from home
• Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
