JOB DESCRIPTION

M.A.P WA is currently recruiting for an experienced Line Leader to join our team on full-time basis, working Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 11.36pm. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing the following duties which include but are not limited to:

  • Organising line set-up, including tooling and labels
  • Running various packaging and labelling equipment
  • Conducting required paperwork and associated checks (eg: label checks, metal detector checks, machinery checks, etc)
  • Ensuring production lines achieve daily production requirements in specified time
  • Assisting the Production Supervisor with training, staff coordination, and supervision of factory personnel
  • Ensuring factory personnel are compliant with relevant hygiene, food safety and work health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Liaison with other departments – Logistics, Maintenance and Quality Assurance

 

JOB CRITERIA

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Can lead a team of upto 15 people;
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, essential
  • Red Meat experience, desirable
  • A reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy to fill out daily worksheets;
  • The ability to understand and operate various equipment with confidence.
  • Previous experience as a line/team leader in fast moving manufacturing environment is essential.
  • A highly organised and structured approach to tasks, making you target oriented and outcome focused
  • Solid interpersonal skills, including effective upward and sideways communication skills
  • A high level of initiative, and proactive-ness
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong work ethic
