Training & Operations Administrator - Immediate Start

Vysarn Limited is a vertically integrated whole of life, end to end water and environmental services provider.

The Vysarn group of companies and services has now grown to include five operating entities: Pentium Water, Pentium Hydro, Pentium Test Pumping, Project Engineering and Vysarn Asset Management.

The Group is continuing to expand, and we are seeking an experienced Training & Operations Administrator that understands the demands of scheduling training for a diverse workforce. This role will also provide supplementary support to the operations/mobilisation team. 

Due to the industries the businesses operate in several roles require specific qualifications and ongoing compliance training. The Training & Operations Coordinator role is integral to ensuring we meet the safety and training requirements of all stakeholders including our clients, business partners, and statutory agencies.

About the role

This is a fast-paced role that commands a very high level of accuracy and organisational skill.  We have listed the tasks you will be responsible for, and we will provide you with ongoing support to develop in the role:

  • Scheduling induction training for all new recruits as per the requirements of the business, client and government agencies;
  • Coordinating ongoing training for existing employees;
  • Liaising with third-party training providers;
  • Maintaining accurate personnel records;
  • Assist with recruitment and on-boarding activities (including booking medicals, preparing uniforms and induction kits);
  • Flight and accommodation bookings through multiple client systems;
  • Maintenance of crew rosters;
  • Assist with mobilisation of the crew, including working with clients to ensure their site access requirements are met;
  • Administration assistance to the Operations and the HSE team, as required; and 
  • On-call weekend roster for ad hoc mobilisation needs.

About you, your skills and experience

  • You possess at least 2 years’ experience in a training administration or similar scheduling role.
  • You may have crew mobilisation experience.
  • You may be familiar with SafetyCulture, SafetyHub, NetSuite or MYOSH.
  • You take pride in performing your work on time and accurately.
  • You can focus on the task at hand and can organise your time effectively.
  • You enjoy a challenge, learning new tasks and taking initiative.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You possess a high level of verbal, written and communication skills.
  • You are willing to adapt to a flexible work schedule to meet business requirements.

This is a full-time role in our West Perth office. We’re close to the city and public transport with great cafes and Watertown within walking distance.
