About the Role

• Various shift opportunities and locations including our Day Program center, Supported Independent Living, Respites, In-home supports and Capacity Building programs
• Day to day care including personal care and In-Home assistance
• Community Access & Transporting participants to appointments
• Maintain & Monitor Person Centered Plans
• Documenting & Shift Note keeping
• Flexibility to work shorter or longer shifts that meet the needs of our clients i.e., morning, day, afternoon, evening, night, sleepovers, active nights, weekend, public holidays.

Skills and experience

• Ability to provide a person-centered approach that empowers the participant’s independence and choice  
• A genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance the lives of our Participants
• Great interpersonal and communication skills  
• Reliable, positive and responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to published hours 
• Previous experience as a Support Worker (highly desirable)
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (highly desirable)

Required Documents/Clearances 

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current National Police Check
• Australian Driver's License and must have a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance with ability to travel and transport participants.
