The Role

The role of the Business Analyst is to manage their day-to-day workload including working with business units scoping requirements using the MoSCoW methodology as part of the Design phase in the below PMO Framework and upon completion of project handover to operations the Business Analyst Team will be responsible for reviewing and documenting continuous improvement (DMAIC) as per below framework. This is a Full-Time Fixed Term contract ending on 17/09/2024

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse business problems and development solutions
  • Build relationships and consult with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver to their requirements.
  • Play a leading role in enabling our business to achieve their objectives through the effective and sustainable use of technology
  • Facilitate high level planning and execution of business initiatives
  • Assist with testing products within the development life cycle to ensure the quality of the product, and the anticipated value of that product is delivered
  • Solve real-world business problems, considering technical, financial, and operational constraints
  • In conjunction with the Head of ICT work with business units to define end to end user journeys that form part of the solution blueprint
  • Take ownership of business analysis initiatives and ensure work packages are delivered on time, to expected quality standards and as per scope, as agreed with the Head of ICT
  • Contribute to our methodology to help us do things faster and better
  • Ensure transfer of knowledge to other staff to ensure systems are understood

About you

The Business Analyst is an integral member of the Project Management Office within IT reporting to the Senior Business Analyst.

Competencies & Behaviours

  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role utilising the MoSCoW method for gathering requirements
  • Hands-on experience in project lifecycle (including requirements analysis / gathering, technical design and implementation, system testing, documentation, maintenance, and handover support)
  • Demonstrated experience to work and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate business needs/ issues and requirements
  • Experience working in the Aged Care Sector transforming business processes with:
  •  
    • Epicor
    • ComCare
    • Clinical Manager
    • Etivity
    • Riskman
    • Office 365 suite
    • Power Automate suite of tools

Essential Criteria:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
