YOUR ROLE

As an Entry Level Service Technician based in Parkinson, QLD, you will able to earn and be mentored in service, repair, maintenance and certification for emergency response equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications. Delivering quality service and products to customers to ensure profit potential and growth opportunities are maximised.

The role of the Service Technician is to provide professional service and support for FRSA customers by assisting our experienced Field Service Technicians with workshop and field service installations, commissioning, repairs and maintenance of a variety of emergency response equipment with possible field trip work accompanying the service technician.

This position is also required to ensure strong quality control of service goods being receipted in and dispatched from the warehouse in line with FRSA’s operating systems and processes, including continually educating customers regarding our processes for compliance.

 

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for individuals with a high level of initiative and self-motivation who can hit the ground running. Having worked in a similar role, you will have the proven technical skills to effectively maintain, install, repair, test, and commission emergency response equipment, as well as ability to learn new things and apply knowledge. A strong focus on accuracy and compliancy towards manufacturer requirements is also a must.

 

The other essentials we are looking for are:

  • Prior experience in a similar role with transferrable skills
  • Mechanical trade background/qualification
  • Competent in training and demonstrating the use of specific equipment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office
