Moec Pty Ltd provides pipeline construction services to our clients in the Mining and Oil & Gas industries.

We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Surveyor Survey Technician / Cadet Surveyor to join our team on our long-term Gas Gathering Piping Installation project at Roma (and Wandoan). The Roster is 18 days on, 10 days off (Paid Travel out on day 1 and day 10 of RnR), ongoing and consistent work with potentially up to 2-3 years work ahead of us. 

Candidates must be available to start work within 4 -6 weeks and pass a pre-employment medical. 

The key task is performing Setout or Pipeline Easements and As-Built survey pick-ups of Welds, fitting, and Features prior to backfill on our buried pipeline installations. We are also looking for surveyors / Survey Techs with Civil Machine control Setup and Management (Basic). 

To be considered for this role, you must have the following relevant qualifications, certifications and experience:

Experience and Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in carrying out survey pickups of buried services. 
• Experience with Trimble RTX System, Trimble RS12i GNSS receiver and Trimbler TSC7 Controller. 
• Preference: Drafting Experience with the ability to create asbuilt construction drawings. 
• Preference: Experience with installation and management of Trimble GPS on Civil Equipment (Excavators / Graders etc)
