Kilcoy Global Foods

Kilcoy Pastoral Company Premium 100 Day Grain-Fed Beef is produced in the picturesque town of Kilcoy at the base of the Conondale Range in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Region.

Local beef producer, Damian Kennedy, established Kilcoy Pastoral Company in 1953. The original plant was capable of processing 40 head of cattle per day to supply the local surrounding butchers. His son, Ian Kennedy, took the reins as Managing Director in 1965. His innovative approach, business strategy and continual entrepreneurial pursuits saw his ground breaking achievements include pioneering the first consignment of chilled beef to Japan and developing and launching natural beef brands into Japan in 1999. He was also integral to the founding of AUS-MEAT, the Australian body responsible for establishing and maintaining National Industry Standards for meat production and processing.

It was in 1999 that the Company began its transformation into the Kilcoy Pastoral Company we know today, a highly specialised facility specifically for the grain-fed market.

With a singular market focus, our highly skilled team has the ability to provide an unbeatable customer experience. Kilcoy Pastoral Company has grown to be one of the five largest beef processors in the country, employing over 750 people and processing more than 800 premium grain-fed cattle a day.
