About the role

We are seeking a trades assistant working out of our Wacol workshop who has experience with small engines preferably.  There is an opportunity to progress into an electrical trade for the right person after 12months. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with return from hire inspections, cleaning and storing of cabling and equipment
• Make up and maintain welding leads, mig guns and ancillary items.
• Provide assistance to electrical trades to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Clean wash and paint machinery
• Operate forklift and receive and dispatch equipment including completion of relevant paperwork
• Service Diesel Engines
• Clean, paint and prepare machinery
• Operationally test equipment
• General duties to assist electrical trades including general labour.
