Wominjeka! Robyn Jane Children’s Centre is a 70 place not-for-profit centre located in Healesville, the heart of the Yarra Valley. We have been nurturing children’s love of learning through play and experience for over 30 years and have built an excellent reputation within the local community by creating an engaging, safe and quality educational environment for children, and being a great place to workm. Our thoughtfully designed classrooms and natural outdoor spaces, coupled with a plethora of sustainable resources, make us the ideal choice for employment.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Early Childhood Education professional with experience working with age groups 0-5 years. The ideal candidate will thrive in a large centre environment and have a genuine passion for nurturing early education through play-based learning experiences.

We are seeking someone who possesses a deep understanding of childhood development and is enthusiastic about creating engaging learning environments that promote children's growth and development.

Key responsibilities Include:

• Creating early education learning opportunities through play
• Design and provide engaging learning environments where children can flourish
• Planning, programming, and maintaining observational records
• Cultivating trust and nurturing strong relationships with both parents and children in our care
• Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards

About You:

 you have:

• A certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services
• A valid Working with Children's Check
• Proficiency in English language and literacy
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite particularly word
• Up to date First Aid qualifications
• Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
• Working Knowledge of NQF and legislative requirements
