What the Job Is
The National Business Development Manager position is a full-time role reporting to the State Sales Manager. You will be required to generate leads and make appointments with prospective clients within pre-determined verticals.
You will source, develop, maintain, and grow a portfolio of customers through new and referred opportunities. We will provide you with extensive training to ensure you are a master of solution selling and provide all the support necessary to grow your portfolio and contribute towards our company's overall growth strategy.
We are in search of a business-minded Sales professional who is confident and skilled to join a team of highly successful individuals within Capital Logistics.
As a National Business Development Manager, you will:
- Generate sales leads through existing networks and execute various lead gen strategies
- Qualify new opportunities and develop sales strategies to win new business
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective opportunities
- Foster and sustain strong client relationships
- Maintain a high level of service delivery for a customer portfolio
- Collaborate effectively with all internal departments and teams
Who You Are
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in Business Development, Account Management, Service Delivery or similar role within logistics or supply chain
- Exceptional communication skills (written, oral and virtual)
- Ability to remain focused and productive in high-pressure situations
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Efficiently manage time, and responsibilities and be able to work autonomously in dynamic and evolving work scenarios
- High IT competency, including CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and connecting software platforms via API or similar.
- Professional business conduct and presentation
- Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
