Maxwell Recruitment currently has a great opportunity for a Trade Qualified Fitters for a workshop-based role in Lake Macquarie. The work primarily involves underground mining rebuilds, working on a variety of development and longwall equipment.

The Benefits:

• Excellent pay rates over $55/hr plus full penalties & Overtime scheduled
• Afternoon shift available paying over $63/hr
• Lake Macquarie-based workshop
• Temp to Perm transitions available for the right candidate

Typical component rebuilds in the workshop include:

• Shuttle Cars
• Continuous Miners
• Feeder Breakers
• Multi Bolters
• Various longwall components

The Requirements:

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters
• Experience in overhaul and assembly of heavy equipment is desirable
• Basic Hydraulics experience is desirable
• Safety-focused and having a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Fitters of any background or strong mechanical TAs are encouraged to apply.
