Your opportunity

We are actively searching for a seasoned Data Migration Lead to guide our team through intricate data migration projects.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in creating and implementing data migration strategies, with a solid foundation in data management principles and considerable experience in data structures.

Your responsibility will be to oversee all phases of data migration, from initial planning to execution, and through to post-migration validation, ensuring the accuracy and security of our data throughout.

Your role will include.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies and architectures for migrating data into TechOne environments.
  • Lead the complete planning, execution, and management of complex data migration projects, focusing on integrating data into TechOne.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to establish data requirements and comprehend the business implications of data migration.
  • Formulate and administer detailed data migration plans, including timelines, resources, risks, and contingencies.
  • Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for data migration into TechnologyOne CiA, troubleshooting any issues that occur.
  • Validate and reconcile the accuracy and integrity of data migrated into TechOne, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and data privacy regulations during migration.
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders about the data migration process, potential challenges, implemented solutions, and progress.
  • Assisting in scoping, estimation, and task planning for assigned projects

  • Experience in data migration, data engineering, or similar role, with a significant portion focused on Technology environments.
  • Solid understanding of TechnologyOne data structures, principles, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with data modelling and data cleaning techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of multitasking and meeting stringent deadlines.

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants that have a bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, information management, business administration, or a related field. 

  • Familiarity with data migration tools, such as TechnologyOne Data Migration (TDM), would be advantageous.
