Position: Arboriculture Truck Driver and Labourer

Salary Range: $26 - $34.99 per hour (plus bonus eligibility) *

Duties involve vegetation maintenance around powerlines, tree pruning, and removals in parks and verges. We utilise a range of Elevated Work Platforms and articulated loaders for efficient operations.

Key Requirements:

Experience is always welcome but for others this could be a refreshing change into the Arboriculture Industry. While this role is not gender-specific, candidates should be physically fit, enthusiastic, and hardworking to perform duties such as:

• Safely operate trucks to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to designated locations and adhere to traffic rules or guidelines.
• Perform general labour duties, assist with safe work site equipment setup, and supporting on-site operations.
• Keep the trucks clean both the cabin and the exterior, conduct regular safety checks for mechanical safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles and engaging in manual handling tasks.

Qualifications/Qualities Required:

• Minimum requirement: Current MR class driver's license (manual)
• Must agree to undergo prestart and random drug & alcohol screening
• Possession of a White Card (Must be obtained before commencement of work)
• Must have reliable vehicle for daily commute to work
• Induction and training provided for operating various tools and machinery, including 4WDs, trucks, chainsaws, and more

Qualifications that will be an Advantage: 

• Prior Arboriculture experience/Qualifications.
• Basic Worksite Traffic Management Qualification.
• Chainsaw Licence an advantage (AHCMOM213).
• Elevated Work Platform licence.
• Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control.
• Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
