Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital is a 38-bed rehabilitation hospital. Our hospital delivers a range of inpatient and day program services and access to allied health services. The standard caseload will be made up of Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Neuro and General Reconditioning patients.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work in our multidisciplinary team to provide high quality occupational therapy services. The position is to join our inpatient Hospital team for a Temporary Part-Time Contract. This role will be 3 day/week and will be for 3 months beginning in May. We take pride in providing high-quality patient centred care, therefore to fill this role you must be dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work and liaise with a multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and therapy in the allied health department
• Provision of high quality, evidence-based OT services in both individual and group-based rehabilitation
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Occupational Therapy department at Eastern Suburbs Private Hospital 
• Ensuring the reputation of excellence is maintained to the highest standard

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Current Registration with AHPRA. Full Registration Only Please
• 2+ years’ experience working in an inpatient hospital rehabilitation service
• Clinical skills across a range of neurological, cardiac and orthopaedic rehabilitation 
• Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork
• Demonstrated excellent time management and self-organisational skills 
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills 
• Demonstrated commitment to quality activities
