Makinex Renewables is a pioneering force in the renewable energy sector, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and deployment of innovative Hybrid Power Systems as well as a range of renewable power generation solutions. With a strong foothold in the hire and rental industry, particularly within the infrastructure space, we are poised for expansion into new market segments. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

With a strong pipeline of project inquiries, we need an energetic BDM to manage these opportunities and generate revenue by showcasing the benefits of our deployable Hybrid Power Systems and range of sustainable solutions.

It is envisaged the BDM will be on the road up to 50% of the time.  A fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop and toll tag will be provided.
 

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a self motivated, high energy and proactive Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge Hybrid Power Systems across various industries. 

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Demonstrated success in business development preferably with experience new innovative products
  • Strong time management skills and responsiveness to generated leads.
  • A hands-on and practical mindset with a willingness to venture into remote locations and tackle projects head on
  • Ability to proactively generate new leads by networking, and actively seeking out target contacts within relevant markets via industry events, trade shows etc
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills and the ability to drive and manage project opportunities, including setting up site visits, face to face demonstrations and/or virtual calls with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical acumen with the ability to translate technical information into customer value
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture productive relationships with clients and partners
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software (Hubspot) to provide accurate reports
  • Experience with sales to major road, rail and civil projects would be advantageous
