About The Opportunity

Due to exciting growth, Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Electrical Technologies team in Melbourne.  This key role will see you utilise your high-level communication skills and sales experience to drive new business and build upon existing client relationships across diverse projects and clients. You will join a small but high performing team that complete Audio Visual, Electrical and Communications projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow the business in existing and new markets to enhance financial performance, growth and revenue across the business, aligning with the business sales strategies
• Support customer retention and build upon existing client relationships, nurturing industry relationships
• Develop and maintain key industry associations and contacts
• Assess potential business opportunities to align with business policies and strategies
• Provide support in bid and tender development at a State and National level
• Visit customer sites during work progress and address issues as they arise
• Provide timely and accurate updates to sales forecasts and presents findings at sales meetings

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in a similar Business Development role, unwavering motivation for delivery, and a natural aptitude for first-class stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

• Experience within the electrical, communications or AV industries
• Demonstratable experience in driving new business
• High level communication skills
• Appetite for new technologies and innovations
• Driver’s License
