Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Parfums Christian Dior is seeking a Product Manager to activate and execute 360 marketing plans across our Fragrance category to achieve sales, growth & profit targets and increase market share within Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) in alignment with Parfums Christian Dior branding guidelines.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Review global product marketing plans and formulate the go-to-market category strategy & launch calendar for ANZ in collaboration with Marketing Director and wider marketing team
  • Meet net and retail sales, growth, ranking and market share targets for the category
  • Participate to the preparation & present category plans for internal and external meetings such as planning meetings with wider team, sales conferences & retailer strategy meetings
  • Lead the novelty and promotional forecasting & planning process, including formulating launch forecasts aligned to the overall marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning & Inventory Management teams to optimise ongoing basic forecasts, manage phase out and discontinuation plans, to minimise excess & obsolescence and to maximise forecast accuracy
  • Work closely with Logistics & Regional Teams to monitor, flag and communicate to all key stakeholders the level of supply and potential delays of new sales products, novelty & basic POSM material (such as samples, gifts & testers)
  • Partner with Merchandising team for POSM planning in alignment with novelty new launch plans
  • Responsible for internal coordination, and closely collaborate & communicate with cross functional teams (marketing, retail, VM, e-business, training, supply & customer service) to ensure best in class execution and drive optimum results for the category
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting to monitor & track category sales results, and formulate recommendations for future launches & icon franchise growth
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director for compilation of Budget and Revisions files and participate actively in the budgeting process
  • Monitor category spends, by line, monthly and reforecast YTG spends accordingly in order to meet the full year profit target


Our ideal candidate will have:


  • 5 years relevant experience preferably obtained in the luxury retail or FMCG industries
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including demonstrated ability in analysing large data sets and reporting
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably marketing, business or finance related
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and openness to learning
  • Capacity to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with high professionalism and expectations for quality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with manager and team members, and to influence stakeholders at various levels in the business
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and accurately
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AX, and Cognos is highly regarded
  • Understanding of the local retail environment, strategy of key competitors, and the latest beauty/fashion and relevant retail/consumer trends
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional grooming that reflects the luxury brand image
  • Willing and able to travel interstate and overseas
