The Position


The purpose of this role is to support the senior Accounting Staff and wider finance team over a broad range of accounting functions and matters, including but not limited to, processing of Accounts Receivable, Travel Claims, Bank Reconciliations and other financial reporting.
This role is responsible for:

  • Assist with the processing of Accounts Receivable invoices and maintain invoice register.
  • Preparation of daily Bank Reconciliations and investigate any issues. 
  • Maintain and reconcile Corporate Traveller clearing account and process Travel Claims.
  • Assist in maintenance and reconciliation of the Travel Float and Travel Advances.
  • Maintenance of Prepayment Schedule and processing of month end journals.
  • Preparation of monthly Financial Accounts for overseas subsidiary including month-end reconciliations. 
  • Preparation of regular business returns such as BAS, IAS and ABS Surveys etc.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual Fringe Benefits Tax return.
    Essential
  • Qualification in Accounting or near completion of one.
  • Ability to process, investigate and analyse financial information.
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels, within the Company and externally.
     

Eligibility 


To be eligible for this position, you must be:

  • An Australian Citizen; and
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Baseline security clearance.
