Orixon is highly engaged with a variety of construction methods specifically Refurbishment works.  Orixon has a great pipeline of work, has shown extremely positive growth over the past 5 years and is very determined to continue to grow and have an impact in our WA Community, as such we are looking for a Project Manager, preferably with experience in refurbishment works to join our business.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Project Manage own works, operating independently.  Tasks and projects including; providing quotes to clients on lower value works, with Estimator support to complete the more complex quotes.  Programming of works, consideration of construction methodology, including resource and workforce management to ensure adequate and appropriate resources are in place to meet the program of works.
  • Undertake client and stakeholder management from initial quote request received through to completion of Project, including representing company at client meetings, liaising with stakeholders, compliance and preparing compliant documentation to pass through to invoicing.
  • Understanding of contractual administration requirements to service the client is essential. Experience with RFI, RFQ, P/Claims 
  • Develop and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with clients, principal contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and our own team.
  • Adherence to WHS legislation across all projects to ensure the provision of a safe working environment for all workers.
  • Projects can vary in value from Minor works at $20,000 up to $750,000 and vary in complexity and type of construction works required. 
  • Active participation in site meetings and company WIP meetings

Qualifications & experience

  • Relevant experience ( Min 5 years) in commercial construction with demonstrated experience in supervisory or project management works.
  • Past Experience in Project Management (Construction) is essential.
  • A good level of understanding of administrative requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with Refurbishment works.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • White card
  • Police Clearance and ability to obtain a Police Integrity Check is ESSENTIAL
