The role:

• Help clients to prepare and finalize individual tax returns
• Ensure supporting communications and documents are received from clients
• Prepare returns to meet Tax Practitioners Board and ATO compliance guidelines
• Focus on the best tax outcome for clients, while ensuring your work is accurate and compliant
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and client correspondence

The requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience reviewing individual tax returns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable computer, high-speed internet

Our online systems help you to efficiently review client tax returns prior to lodgement. System training is provided to help you in the reviewing process.

This is a short-term contract for the upcoming tax season only. This role is paid a piece-rate per tax return completed. (Under section 536 AA FW Act, pieceworkers are also entitled to the periodic rate of pay of national minimum wage.) 

The workload fluctuates throughout the tax season and is influenced by market demand. Nevertheless, our business experiences peak client engagement during the busiest periods of the tax season.

Please note: Due to the volume of work that we do, we require you to be available for online, self-paced training in June and to start reviewing tax returns from 1st July.
