Rosmech Sales & Service is Australia's leading independent supplier of specialised truck mounted and compact road sweepers. We are seeking individuals with strong mechanical skills who will use their knowledge coupled with on-the-job training to grow and develop with the business. 

Requirements of the Role

The permanent full-time position will report to the Production Manager. Some of the core duties of this position are: 

• Working in a team to achieve the left-hand drive dual steer conversion of Hino, ISUZU and IVECO  trucks. Your role will be to modify the factory main loom to accommodate left hand drive; 
• Make and install the electrical option loom to accommodate any customer request e.g., beacons, arrow bars, work lights, GPS, weighing systems; 
• Installing and integrating CanBus systems; and 
• Modifying and installing factory tail light looms to accommodate LED tail lights. 

Criteria for the Role

The successful applicant must:

• Hold an appropriate qualification (Automotive Electrician) is desired but not essential.
• Be able to work well in a team but also have the skills and indicative to work alone.
• Display a sense of urgency and punctuality in their work.
• Have a sense of pride and care in their work.
• Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to ascertain their ability to adequately perform all duties as required; and
