The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated individual with electrical skills to assist with assembly and commissioning of diesel driven electrical systems. 

Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader and based in Landsdale, the primary tasks of this role are:

  • Electrical fitting and assembly of product to issued documentation, drawings and safe work instructions 
  • Ensure product is built to specified standards, quality and productivity targets 
  • Conduct testing and quality checks to meet customer and Company specifications and standards 
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with 5S principles 
  • Provide timely feedback to leadership on obstacles and bottlenecks 
  • Fault finding and feedback on products, engaging leadership and relevant stakeholders, as required 
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs 

What you must have

  • Current Electrical Workers license, registered with Energy Safety WA 
  • Technical and industry knowledge 
  • Experience with assembly and commissioning of diesel driven electrical systems, specifically generators, switchboards and electrical looms 
  • A can-do positive attitude and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team 
  • Be able to deliver a high level of work with quality build into the finished product 
  • Ability to follow written procedures 
  • Experience with Microsoft computer packages 
  • Holding a current drivers licence 
  • Holding, or the ability to hold, a forklift licence
  • A willingness to work overtime
